True Health Summer Program
 

The theme of the TRUE Health campaign is to embark on a collective health journey to achieve better health. As partners, the SkegeeFit team members guide and support the target audience by providing health tips and resources. The primary strategy for the campaign is to access how each participant “feels” in regards to their personal health.

 

What is True Health?
 

Through the conception of the SkegeeFit program, the team has found there is a mis-conception when it comes to health. Many people associate good health with being muscular or petite. But, health is truly about how you feel! Health is about being happy and satisfied with your personal well being.

One-On- One Consultation

 

SkegeeFit members will now have the opportunity to schedule one-on-one consultation with one of our SkegeeFit team leaders. Members seek knowledge on how to meal prep and find natural home remedies to cure everyday aches and pains. This is a way our team will support members through their individual health journey.

Power Pitstop

 

Every Wednesday there will be a Power Pitstop at the entrance of the Morrison Mayberry Building where students, faculty, and staff can stop to get a snack or a bottled water to help energize them and get them through their day. This is a fun way to increase healthy culture within the workspace!

Weekly Check-in

True Health Powerlunches

 

The True Health Power Lunches will be a way to not only interact with the SkegeeFit members, but also educate them on new ways to create a healthier lifestyle. Our team workshop leader,  Lindsey Lunsford, will facilitate a six week workshop series to provide information and access to dialogues on small steps to health. Workshops will demonstrate healthy habits that participants can adopt in their daily routine to achieve healthier lifestyles. Healthy food and refreshements will be served at each session.
